Jin Chan Cash is an asian themed game from Inspired, and it’s all about the Cash Collector bonus round. It cannot be denied that this game is basically a reskin, but for some reason the RTP has been lowered to 95.89 % here. This means that there really is no reason to prefer this version of the game, and we are wondering how long Inspired plans to keep this series going. It’s not all that exciting with the sole focus on the cash collector feature after all, and perhaps it's time to put this concept to rest.

The first game in the series, Rainbow Cash Pots, had some success, but none of the follow-up reskins has come close to the original in popularity. Now Inspired is putting the concept to the test in asia, and time will tell how successful that approach will be. We prefer the original game over this, not only because of the higher RTP, but also because the irish luck theme has more charm and charisma than any of the sequels.

Jin Chan Cash Features

There is only one bonus feature to report about in this game, and that’s the Cash Collector Respins round. You trigger this feature by landing at least 6 gold coins on reels 1 to 4, and a happy looking cash collector frog on reel 5.

The gold coin symbols and the cash collector frog will then become sticky, and the rest of the reel positions will respin 5 times. All the gold coin symbols come with random cash prizes of 1x, 2x, 5x, 10x, 20x, 25x and 50x your stake, and each new coin you land becomes sticky.

All the cash values are summed up when the feature ends, which happens either by running out of spins, or by filling the screen with cash coins and/or collector frogs. Each cash collector frog symbol sums up your winnings. This means that up to a 3x multiplier boost is possible here, if you fill reel 5 with 3 cash collector frogs.

Review Summary

It makes sense to make an asian style version in the Cash Collector series, and Jin Chan Cash is basically a reskin of the previous games. Nothing new has been added. There are no upgrades or improvements and no new bonus features here. The math model is the same as before except the lower RTP, and it’s all about the Cash Collector Respins feature.

Players familiar with the series will probably still prefer Rainbow Cash Pots, as this game is obviously created to expand the fan-base to asia. We kind of hope this is it for this series, so Inspired Gaming can use their creative forces on something more exciting in the future.
