It means that the winning symbols explode, and make room for new symbols that drop from above. This way you can win many times on a single spin, and create chain reactions that might lead to larger payouts.

The good news is that scatter symbols do not explode when they land, and therefore they can accumulate if you get several consecutive exploding wins.

The mining theme is not as well-done here though, and the visual presentation is cartoonish and cannot really match the source of inspiration. What makes that game attractive is the 12,160x max win potential, and the somewhat innovative Bonus Ways feature.

Exploding the reels into a higher concentration of symbols and paylines is kind of fun for a while, but too many times the dynamite hardly helps you out.

This is especially true when you land a dynamite on only one reel, which happens a lot. Of course, the medium to high volatility plays a part in this, but we would rather see less dynamites and have them really matter when they do land. You get this in the bonus round though, which helps. All in all, this is a decent enough title, but it’s not quite as revolutionary as it pretends to be.
