Audiovisually, there’s not much of a difference between the original and Stumpy McDoodles 2, although the larger 5x5 grid looks smaller in comparison. This is done to fit in the scatter collect meter clearly, but featurewise there are some changes. You don’t get multipliers in the random wild feature in this sequel for example, which could have made the base game more interesting, and the bonus round is heavily inspired by Fat Rabbit.

The significantly higher 11,600x potential might convert some fans of the Push Gaming classic, but you will need quite a few consecutive 400x full-sized Wild wins to crack it (29 to be precise). Still, it’s nice to have a larger number to push against, and you get the cheerful leprechaun Irish Luck vibe all the way. Stumpy McDoodles 2 is far better than the original, despite the main feature being obviously lifted.
