Review Summary

As much as we like Push Gaming’s Razor Shark, Play’n Go has definitely beaten them in the audiovisual department. Mega Don comes with meaner-looking sharks, a claustrophobic soundtrack could be used in the next Jaws movie, and it’s a joy to see the shadow of the beasts circle around underneath the grid before they suddenly strike.

The shock effect of the Snack Time feature would’ve been higher if the symbols were simply selected in the background, with no pre-warning except for the sometimes-teasing sonar ping. That’s pretty much how it’s done in the bonus round, and the 1,024 ways system can lead to solid payouts up to 10,000x your stake. Razor Shark will be hard to dethrone, not least due to its insane potential, but Mega Don is a definitely a force to be reckoned with in the genre.
