It should be noted up front that WMG is a developer that caters mostly to the Italian market, at least for the time being. They are hardly a household name world wide for that reason, and their games usually come with a retro cartoonish style. The low to high value symbols pay between 3 to 40 x your stake for 6 of a kind wins, while the top-tier Golden Egg symbol pays 400x your stake for the same.

You win by landing 3 to 6 matching symbols on adjacent reels from the uttermost left to the right. You can also land a Fox Wild Symbol on reels 2 to 5, and it steps in for pay symbols to help complete wins.

We’ll start by saying that Fowl Play Megaways is very far from what most players expect from a Megaways release. If you’re looking for a nostalgic one armed bandit kind of experience, however, you might be thrilled by what’s on offer here. You even get the sound of the arm being pulled per spin, and the visuals are as retro and basic as they can get on a modern video slot. We had to go buy a large pack of Kellogg's Corn Flakes after playing this for a while though, which is something to keep in mind perhaps.

Jokes aside, and comparing this to most Megaways releases as we must, Fowl Play Megaways is highly underwhelming. Once the cute retro charm wears off, the game is a very standard dynamic grid installment with a weak bonus round. Getting only 2 free spins seemed almost like a bad joke, and 5 seems to be the most you can get from the bronze egg at least.

It’s not like the x2 win multiplier makes a huge difference from the base game either, and the max win potential is not even revealed (we don’t have high hopes, however). The 90.68 % RTP is also way into dealbreaker territory for most players.
