The Infinity Reels range is growing steadily with contributions from a number of different developers, but the engine hasn’t really broken through properly to the mainstream just yet. You need a win that involves all 3 of the default reels to trigger the Infinity Reels mechanic, and this adds a new reel on the right-hand side as long as you keep improving the winning combination. In addition, each added reel increases the win multiplier by +1, and it’s applied to the total payout you rack up from the round.

Wild symbols help you out by stepping in for all regular pay symbols, and if you manage to pile on 13+ extra reels you win the Infinity Reels Bonus worth 888x your stake. This bonus jackpot is available both during base game play, as well as in the bonus round.

The Bonus Round is triggered when you land at least 5 chest scatters anywhere during the same infinity sequence, and you get 8 free spins and a starting win multiplier increment of +1 by default.

Before the bonus round plays out however, you’ll get a chance to upgrade it via the Wheel feature.

The visual presentation will probably appeal to fans of Fantasy card games (of which there are many), as this is how the 4 beasts are presented on the grid. Age of Beasts Infinity Reels has a nice overall flow to it, but there is nothing new to see here for those already familiar with ReelPlay’s infinity engine. Piling on enough reels (13+) to win the 888x jackpot is rare, as you can imagine, and most of the time you’ll get frustrated by constantly starting over from scratch again.

A math model which allowed for 20-40+ reels added on a regular basis would perhaps provide a more satisfactory experience, as “infinity” sounds like a joke when you’re struggling with adding 2-4 extra reels most of the time, if even that. Fans of the genre might enjoy what’s on offer here, but the 3,953x potential and below-average 95.57 % RTP will hardly be convincing to fence-sitters and hardcore gamblers.
