Strap yourself in for yet another volatile ride through the post-apocalyptic, animal-run futuristic dystopia, as Nitropolis 2 is the equivalent of an audiovisual monster truck about to crash through your screen. In fact, this literally happens when you trigger the bonus round, and ELK is not holding anything back with this release, except, unfortunately, the potential and the RTP.

It’s easy to get all pumped when the insane soundtrack is hammering adrenaline through your system, but part of our job as reviewers is to also pour some ice into your veins. Players looking for more non-stop mayhem will hardly be disappointed, but it’s a bit sad that the 10,000x potential remains the same with such a massive number of extra win ways. Overall though, and despite the 1 % lower RTP, this is a solid follow-up with plenty of new modifiers to keep you going.

The wild symbol steps in for all regular pay symbols, and it’s also worth the same as the highest value premium symbol. This means that 6 on a payline equals a 1x win. Nitropolis 2 is an adrenaline-fuelled, futuristic joyride from start to finish, and the mental soundtrack will make you feel like someone poured nitro-infused gasoline into your veins. That being said, after the initial rush has worn off a bit, you will spot a few significant drawbacks.

The brand new Nitro Booster feature reel enhances the experience for sure. However, you also get a lot of time-consuming bells and whistles, and these can be annoying when they, more often than not, are combined with measly or no returns.

Upgrading the game with more than 100 million extra win ways, on top of the original 85M+, seems like overkill when the 10,000x potential remains unchanged. In addition, the RTP has been dropped down to 95 %, which is a full percent below the original.
