We often get to see unoriginal slots, but Goddess of Egypt by developer 3 Oaks probably holds the first place in this regard. With a common theme of Ancient Egypt and gameplay very similar to the one found in Pragmatic Play’s Sweet Bonanza, it delivers a pretty much rudimentary gaming experience.

Despite the studio hasn’t exactly gone to town with the theme, we should still give credit to the design team since the game at least looks nice. Well, yeah, the multipliers are bigger and there’s also an additional multiplier in the free games, but what’s the point of switching to Goddess of Egypt from the original when the potential isn’t anywhere even close to the numbers of Sweet Bonanza. That’s definitely a question all game providers should ask themselves before producing countless identical slots in the genre.
